My Frida hates the cold like I do. She prefers to stay inside in winter and goes out again in Spring. This is when she goes hunting and surprises me with chipmunks running around in our living room. Chipmunks are small squirrel like animals but a lot cuter than squirrels. Some of the chipmunks I find in our home are still alive and I kindly escort them out to continue their chipmunky life. Some unfortunately do not have a happy ending. But also the other reason for ‘omitting’ wintery snowy scenery from my painting is because I really don’t like painting wintery scenes. I am a 100% summer girl.
