Description Neovek Spray-On Sheep Blowfly Treatment Neovek Spray-On Sheep Blowfly Treatment contains 50g/L dicyclanil and protects sheep against fly strike caused by dicyclanil-susceptible strains of Lucilia cuprina for 18 to 24 weeks. Suitable for use off-shears or on sheep with any length wool, it also protects mulesing and marking wounds during the healing process. Key Benefits Long-lasting protection for up to 24 weeks. Effective on both short and long wool sheep. Helps protect mulesing and marking wounds. Supports animal welfare by preventing fly strike during recovery. Directions for Use Apply NEOVEK as a low-volume spray to the required areas. Hold the applicator nozzle 15–25cm above the fleece to create a 15cm wide band for body strike protection. For wound treatment, ensure coverage extends 25mm beyond the wound onto surrounding wool. Avoid application in gusty or windy conditions to reduce spray drift and ensure maximum effectiveness. Perform mulesing or marking when fly activity is minimal. Withholding Periods Meat: Do not use within 28 days of slaughter. Milk: Do not use on sheep producing or intended to produce milk for human consumption. Wool: Do not use within 3 months of shearing or fibre collection. ESI: 120 days before slaughter for export.
