It also supports correct blade speed and can improve run time on cordless clippers and trimmers. Why use Wahl Clipper Oil? Mineral oil formula designed for clipper blades Lubricates for cooler cutting and smoother performance Helps flush out cut hair from between blades Reduces wear to extend blade life How often should I oil? Ideally every 10 minutes during use. At a minimum, oil at the start of a clip and again at the end. Directions for Use With the blade facing down, turn the clipper or trimmer on. Apply three drops of oil: one on each side and one in the middle of the moving blade. While running, move the taper lever back and forth to work the oil through.
